merde-run-dialog — run commands or show MERDE key bindings

SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION

merde-run-dialog opens the command launcher on the current MERDE display. Typing a command and pressing Enter starts /bin/sh -c in a detached session and closes the launcher. Escape closes it without running a command.

With --keybindings, merde-run-dialog opens the binding list exported by the running MERDE session. It falls back to the stock bindings if that file is unavailable.

ENVIRONMENT

WAYLAND_DISPLAY

Selects the Wayland display.

XDG_RUNTIME_DIR

Locates merde/keybindings.txt for key binding mode.

EXIT STATUS

The merde-run-dialog utility exits 0 on success, and >0 if an error occurs.
